Hallett - Stella Hamm

Alamo, Oct 27 - Mrs. Stella May Hallett, 60, died at her home in Alamo Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock. She had been ill two weeks and death was attributed to a heart ailment. Mrs. Hallett was born near Alamo July 31, 1887 the daughter of Arthur and Zelpha Underwood Hamm. She was married to Alva Hallett at the Lutheran Church near Wallace Sept 2, 1905.
She was a member of the Methodist Church at Alamo and of the Alamo Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Lee and Paul Lester, both of Waynetown rural routes and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Alamo Christian Church with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine and Rev. John Serrvies in charge. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown. Friends may call at the residence after 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. - jkbz
